Finland in Figures 2025 provides a review from the past to the present day and gives an overview of all statistical topics compiled in Finland. It contains data on the population, economy, employment, pensions, transport and tourism, for example. This year’s theme of the publication is young people in statistics.
During summer, the Finnish Immigration Service's residence permit data will be available to researchers in Statistics Finland's Research Services. The data include information on bases for processing and citizenships, for example. The Directors General of the Finnish Immigration Service and Statistics Finland discussed cooperation between the agencies today.
The new Classification of Individual Consumption According to Purpose (COICOP) will be adopted in the Consumer Price Index in January 2026. This will cause breaks in the time series of the Consumer Price Index, for example.
